Description:
The Kolsai Lakes are one of the treasures of the Northern Tien Shan. Three high-altitude Lake with steep, pine-covered slopes are located near Kungei – Tau, at a height of 2433 meters above sea level. The lakes have a dark blue color of water; they are surrounded by flowering alpine meadows, mountains and vast coniferous forests of the Tien – Shan spruce. The first lake stretches for 1 km at an altitude of 1818m. The 3-hour walk there is the second lake, which is around – a paradise for mushroom pickers. There is no sign of civilization. Third – very cold lake – is located at 6 km above. In all lakes you can catch a trout, and vicinities of lakes are especially good for the hiking and horse tours. Here there is a tourist camping, hotel. This is the best rest from city vanity and full reunion with the virgin nature.
